Udo Frankenberg

Feldman.jpg (10970 bytes)Sensei Udo Frankenberg was born 1949 in Germany, graduated in 1978 from Justus Liebig University in Giessen with a Masters Degree in Political Science, Economics and Social Science and holds a Senior High School Teachers Certificate in German and Social Science (1977).   He is LTC (Reserve) in the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and works as Senior Executive in the German Government Services abroad and in Berlin / Germany.  Udo Frankenberg is married to Hannelore F. and has four adult children (two girls, two boys - all hold Dan degrees in various Martial Arts) and two grandsons.  He started his Martial Arts career during his high school years in Bonn / Germany in Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Military Close Combat and Karate at the age of fifteen. His mentor was Horst Weiland, a well-known high-ranking black belt and head of the Budo Academy Europe; the German Jiu Jitsu owes him a lot.   Being posted with the German Foreign Office abroad from time to time, Mr. Frankenberg always took his "tatami" with him, created his own new "dojo" in a foreign environment and started with new students again and again (usually from the German and International Community).   His recent overseas appointment was Washington D.C. (1999 - 2003), where he eventually joined the USMAF and the USJJF as a Life Member. He is currently, stationed in Berlin, Germany with the Foreign Office of the German Government. Sensei Frankenberg serves as the Vice President of the Martial Arts International Federation (MAIF). He also serves on the Executive Committees and Board of Directors of the USMAF & the MAIF
