1969: Born on July 7th in Pozarevac , Serbia

1979: Started with budo training in local judo club in Pozarevac , Serbia . Head instructors: Dobrivoje Djuric and Ljubisa Jecic, 2nd DAN Judo

1980: Had to make a pause of 6 months due to illness. Reactivated in September same year

1981: Received yellow belt in judo and the first ID card from Serbian Judo Federation

1982: Continued with judo, and unofficially trained in nunchaku and karate kumite under local karate sensei.

1983: Continued with previous activities

1984: Exposed to kendo techniques by my judo instructors. Started with more active cross-training in karate and bunkai of bo, nunchaku and sai. For the first time started reading of ninjutsu. As an advanced judo student, being shown for the first time Goshin Jutsu techniques as a portion of Jujutsu. Being brought to national judo championship, finished as fourth in cadets division.

Finished primary school as the best student in generation (equal to "magna cum laude")

1985: Started training karate in local karate club, despise disagreement from judo sensei. Continued with cross training in classical budo arts, under strong influence of books and videos from Kazuzo Kudo, Kanazawa , Hatsumi, Gozo Shioda, Masutatsu Oyama, etc.

1986: Continued with previous activities, still with judo as a main discipline. Participated on summer seaside seminars as elected future national judo representative.

1987: Made definitive decision on future career and, as such, decided to study medicine. This decision influenced potential sports career. Became the illustrator for two largest martial arts magazines in Yugoslavia , the "Black Belt" (domestic edition) and the "Secrets of Ninja".

1988: Received ikkyu in judo and in shotokan karate, right before joining the Army for a year of mandatory service. Graduated from high school in Pozarevac Gimnazium as the best student in generation ("magna cum laude"). Passed the entrance examination on Medical faculty in Belgrade .

1989: Gave several classes in Goshin Jutsu/Jujutsu to fellow soldiers (Mountain Infantry, Niksic , Montenegro ). Finished with mandatory service in September. Regularly disharged with full approvements. Started with medical Studies in Belgrade on October 1st. Made a small pause in budo training till the end of this year.

1990: Reactivated as budo practitioner in the spring of 1990. Visited several times the old judo club in Pozarevac, which was under new sensei. Continued with cross training in judo, karate and weaponry, still under large influence of ninjutsu. Gathered a group of several young yudansha and advanced students in karate, judo, jujutsu, ninjutsu and Wing Chun. Informal training sessions of this group were held outdoors since April till October.

1991: Founded the first Serbian Budo club in Pozarevac with fellow yudansha. This was the first Serbian club for cross training in Japanese martial arts. Received the title of 1st Dan budo (signed by Novica Stepanovic, 2nd Dan karate, Drasko Jankovic, 1st Dan karate, and Slobodan Drakulic, 1st Dan Judo and jujutsu). Posted as head instructor in the new founded Budo Club, with instructional titles in judo, karate, jujutsu and Japanese weaponry (kenjutsu, nunchaku and shuriken at the time) On the same year started actively training in Belgrade clubs: full contact karate under Nesa Milovanovic, former European champion, aikido under Goran Kumrik, 3rd Dan Ki-Aikido under Koichi Tohei, and judo under Vuk Rasovic (8th Dan judo, president of Yugoslavian Judo Federation). Joined several times training classes of Mirko Ostojic, 5th Dan Bujinkan Taijutsu, and exchanged weapon techniques with this sensei.

1992: Opened Budo Club in Belgrade . Continued with visiting Belgrade martial arts clubs. Occasionally visited the Pozarevac Budo Club.

1993: Instructed over 50 students in Belgrade club, under the training program consisted of basics of judo, karate, aikido, jujutsu, and weapon arts.

1994: Serbian Budo Council was officially registered as a sport organization by the Ministry of Internal affairs of Serbia . Promoted by the Board of Black Belts into 3rd Dan budo, with instructional titles in judo, karate, jujutsu and weapons. 1995: Graduated from Medical Faculty in Belgrade among the forst in generation and returned to hometown of Pozarevac. Started working as a physician - GP. Appointed Dejan Kostic sensei as a head instructor in Belgrade club. Took the role of head instructor in Pozarevac Budo Club. Initiated several smaller seminars and gatherings with other karate, judo and kendo clubs.

1996: Continued with previous budo activities. Full time physician wih over 5000 patients. Worked part-time as a studio musician (bass, guitar, blues harp, accordion). Also continued with publishing small illustrations, caricatures and cartoons in local and Serbian national newspapers and magazines ( http://zdravkovic.tripod.com )

1997: Got married in May. Organized in June the first Serbian Nunchaku Championship, with patronage of Dejan Milosevic, European nunchaku champion under WANO (World Amateur Nunchaku Organization, Paris). Dejan Milosevic also held 5th Dan in nunchaku, 4th Dan in judo, and Dan ranks in karate and ninjutsu. On this occasion got promoted to 4th Dan Budo and won 4 state nunchaku medals with competitors from Budo Club Pozarevac. On the same year created and published the very first CD in martial arts in Serbia , a small multimedia in PowerPoint, called the "Japanese swordsmanship". Received the title of 3rd Dan kenjutsu from the Board of Black Belts of Serbian Budo Council. Meanwhile, also received 2nd Dan in Judo. Illustrated several books, printed several budo manuals for SBC.

1998: Became a father of daughter Ana. Successfully coached several karate competitors who won the state medals in kumite, and regional medals in kata. After the reorganization of Serbian Budo Council (SBC), became the president of SBC. As a president of SBC initiated renaming of former budo titles/ranks into jujutsu titles. Became officially 4th Dan jujutsu by the decision of General Assembly of SBC.

1999: Got the invitation to demonstrate his art in front of DAN Commission of the new founded Serbian Jujutsu Federation. After successful demonstration, recognized as 4th Dan jujutsu and yudansha in karate and judo. Members of this DAN commission were high ranked yudansha and officers in Serbian Judo Federation, Serbian and Yugoslavian Karate Federation and Aikido Federation of Serbia . Elected Technical director in this new federation. Run jujutsu seminars in Belgrade and Pirot. Initiated extensive correspondence with foreign jujutsu organizations. By the end of the year received membership certificates for Serbian Budo Council from American Jujutsu Association (AJA) under George Kirby sensei, and from American Judo and Jujutsu Federation (AJJF) under Lamar Fisher sensei. Affiliated SBC to Budo Kai of Don Cunningham, a sensei with whom developed fine Internet friendship. Organized the "Pozarevac Karate open" tournament, which gathered 11 clubs associated to SBC. Presented the award for the best sport coach by the Sport Federation of Eastern Serbia .

2000: Founded the Kenjutsu International Association of Instructors (KIAI)- an internet based organization. Presided over this organization till 2001. Edited 15 KIAI Online magazines. Meanwhile registered as a member of Kunami Ryu Budokai (now Katsujin Ryu Budokai ) by Walt Bushey sensei from Texas - current president of KIAI. Got KIAI sandan kenjutsu certificate from Walt Bushey sensei, Texan representative of Komei Juku, Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu organization under 21st head, Sekiguchi Komei sensei. Presented the Award of Significant Sport accomplishments by East Serbian Sport Federation. Wrote a jujutsu manual with JJIF rules in Serbian. Published several articles in Serbian martial arts magazines. Edited the "martial Arts review of Pozarevac" - a small magazine of 12 martial arts clubs from Pozarevac area.

2001: Became a father again. Second child, a son, named Jovan. Continued with Internet presentation of SBC, and also received aikijujutsu Dan rank and rank of 5th Dan in Jujutsu. This rank was issued by Ian Stewart sensei from York (UK) , Development Officer and 6th Dan Aiki Jujutsu under Arnold Davies sensei, 8th Dan Budo, president of Bushido Zazen International Society (UK), and direct student of Kenshiro Abbe sensei. The official style of SBC's Jujutsu was renamed into Gendai Goshin Ryu Jujutsu and as such has been presented in several international magazines, including "Kiai Echo". British organization NRMAI posted article about new member from SBC, Dr. Zdravkovic, in "Traditional karate" magazine. SBC accepted and recognized by the National and International Black belt Federation (NIBF), from UK, under patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess of Serbia, Linda Karageorgevich. Listed as Godan Jujutsu on AJJF site. Rejected his karate, judo and kobudo ranks received from SBC and Serbian karate and judo federation, out of disagreement with infant and juvenile black belts promotions and inactivity of SBC's Kobudokai sub-division. Printed several manuals and edited domestic budo magazines. Frequent contributor to various Internet online magazines and forums. Listed as member of MINA - Masters International Nunchaku Organization.

2002: Run several jujutsu seminars in Serbia and initiated jujutsu competitions under the rules of Ju-Jutsu International Federation (JJIF). Won several medals with cadet and senior competitors. Became BOD member in Kokusai Gendai Budo Renmei , another organization headed by Walt Bushey sensei, and appointed advisor and examiner in several budo arts from the new founded system of Gendai Goshin Bujutsu - a system which had its roots in Gendai Goshin Ryu (GGR) Jujutsu - jujutsu of Serbian Budo Council. Received Menkyo Okuden GGR Jujutsu from KGBR on a certificate signed by Walt Bushey and Brett Denison sensei (later being the member of Shudokai organization, official Menkyo Okuden holder in Kawashin Ryu Jujutsu, GGR Jujutsu, GGR Aikijujutsu and yudansha in karate). Took over the former Budo club in Pozarevac as his private non-profit school of Japanese martial arts, and renamed it into Shinbukan Dojo . Renamed former kenjutsu of SBC into Shinbukan kenjutsu - recognized as Shinbukan Kenjutsu Menkyo Chuden (a.k.a. Menkyo Hiden) by KIAI. Edited and contributed articles for two books about Shotokan karate kata by M. Drndarevic sensei.

2003: Elected President of Referee's Commission in new-founded Jujutsu Federation of Serbia. Hosted large State Jujutsu kata Cup in May. Hosted large SBC's Annual Seminar with Ian Stewart and Nick Sleep, representatives of Bushido Zazen International Society (BZIS). Recognized from BZIS as 5th Dan GGR Jujutsu and 3rd Dan Shinbukan Kenjutsu. Received Budo passport and Certificate signed by Arnold Davies sensei, 8th Dan budo. In June elected briefly as Adjunct professor of American College of Martial Studies . Developed with Brett Denison sensei the "Japanese Studies Textbook" and received Doctorate in Martial Science for his work on KIAI, fore-mentioned textbook, and general lifetime achievement. Unfortunately, broke the communication with this College out of disagreement with its new educational policy and distant-learning programs.

2004: Started using the term 'Shinbukan jujutsu'' for his variant of Gendai Goshin Ryu Jujutsu. Decided to unify Shinbukan Jujutsu and Shinbukan Kenjutsu into a composite art named Shinbukan Bujutsu. This "sogo budo" system uses Menkyo license instead of Dan ranks. Became the advisor of new founded Kokusai Jissen Budo Renmei. Composed theory test for JJFS rank promotions and validations. Wrote several articles for various Internet sites on theory and history of Japanese martial arts. Invited to be a guest of Bushido Zazen int. Society's Easter Convention in England .

2006: Shinbukan Ju-Jutsu - Promoted to Rokudan (6th Dan) in Feb 2006.
