United States (USA) Martial Arts Federation
Martial Art Systems & Black Belts
Two of the goals of the USMAF is to encourage "mutual respect" and "cooperation" within the Martial Arts community. What better way then to encourage the inclusion of other martial arts into an organization and to give them a real voice in how that organization is run. In the USMAF, we have done just that through our Partners and Affiliates. These Partners and Affiliates have a sub-committee that will be responsible for the rank system development and promotions for their systems.
Below is a list of martial arts that have representatives within the USMAF. Not all are represented systems have a sub-committee to administer their affairs, but these systems are made up of sincere and honest individuals who want to make the goals of "mutual respect and cooperation" a reality. Although these Martial Arts have different origins, goals and techniques, they all have a voice in the USMAF and have taken key leadership roles. Mutual respect and cooperation are more than just words in the USMAF, they are lived every day by its members.
To learn more about a particular represented Martial Art or read its rank requirements, click the name of the system. To see a Biography on one of its leaders, click on leader's name. Listed are the sub-systems (as applicable) for each system and the leaders from each system. In the event that a large number of members exist from a particular system, only 5th Degree and above ranks will be listed.
The below listed individuals are CERTIFIED BLACK BELTS with the United States Martial Arts Federation.
If you are a Martial Arts practitioner and would like to have your rank certified by the United States Martial Arts Federation, you may do so by completing the below requirements. Click here for detailed membership information.

Fill out the USMAF Membership Form and mail to our National Office with the required fees.

Enclose with your Application a photocopy of your current rank certificate from a Recognized Martial Arts Organization, your martial arts biography detailing your training, your photo and a listing of past instructors. Contact information for past instructors is highly desired.
