• 1972 – Began martial arts training in traditional Karate
Early training at Sportstudio Oyama (Berlin) under Ingo Freyer
• 1970s – Continued Karate training, including Kyokushinkai Karate, examinations up to 4th Kyu
• 1975 – Transition to Taekwondo at Sportschule Doksuri
Training under Grandmaster Kim Bo-Young (Chang Moo Kwan style(
• 1980 – Achieved 1st Dan (Black Belt) in Taekwondo and kick boxing
• 1980s–present – Ongoing advanced practice in Karate, Kickboxing, teak kwon do, Boxing and Self-Defense
INSTRUCTION, LEADERSHIP & ORGANIZATION
• Co-owner of Sportschule Cobra, Berlin-Kreuzberg
• Head Instructor, responsible for children, youth, and adult programs
• Long-term instructor activity emphasizing discipline, structure, and personal development
• Community-based martial arts engagement (“soziale Feuerwehr” initiatives)

Professionally trained chef, with many years of practical experience, and later active as a streetworker, using martial arts as a tool for social engagement, conflict prevention, and youth development.
Former co-owner and head instructor of a Berlin-based martial arts school, holding certified DOSB qualifications and decades of hands-on teaching experience across multiple disciplines.
